Rules and Regulations For Renting The Club's Hall (Excluding Stage)

Booking
1. |
The applicant is required to fill up the application form and submit it to the Club at least one month but not more than three months prior to the proposed date of use. He or she must be either a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident residing in the Chua Chu Kang Constituency. |

2. |
The rental deposit (refundable) must be paid at the time the application form is submitted and full rental must be paid at least one week prior to the date of use, failing which the application is deemed withdrawn. Any rental paid is non-refundable, unless decision is made by the Management Committee to withdraw the application. |

3. |
All applications are non-transferable. |
|
|
General Usage
4. |
The hall can only be used for the approved usage as stated in the application form. No religious, political or immoral activities are allowed. |
|
|
5. |
The applicant is required to vacant the hall by 10:00pm. |
|
|
6. |
Shifting or modification to the hall’s equipment, systems and facilities is strictly prohibited, unless a written approval is issued by the Management Committee. The applicant is fully responsible for any damages to the hall’s equipment, systems and facilities during the period of use. Compensation for any damages must be settled within seven days from the date of notice issued by the Management Committee. |

7. |
No adhesive tapes, glue or starch, except blu-tack are allowed on the walls of the hall. |
|
|
8. |
No open fires or flames in the hall at any time. |
|
|
9 |
No usage of any power points allowed for personal use without written approval by the CCMC (for things like laptops, charging of hand phones, ironing of clothes, etc) |

|
10. |
Littering is strictly prohibited. All material and food waste must be disposed of at the designated garbage collection area. |
|
|
Food Catering
11. |
Only licensed food caterers are allowed and license must be produced upon request. |
|
|
12. |
Food caterers are not allowed to carry out any washing of utensils in the Club. |
|
|
13. |
Wooden insulation paddings must be placed at the designated cooking area. Roasting of piglets is strictly prohibited. |
|
|
Logistics Arrangement
14. |
Tentages are allowed to be erected and tables and chairs are only permitted to be shifted into the Club one day before the date of use. All tentages, tables and chairs must be cleared away by noon the following day. |

|
15. |
No tables or chairs are allowed along the corridor in front of the hall. |
|
|
16. |
The applicant is required to provide his/her own generator to run extra lighting if required. |
|
|
17. |
No cars are allowed to be parked within the Club’s premises, unless permitted by the Management Committee. (Parking lots are available in the nearby HDB car parks.) |

|
Entertainment Arrangement

Only licensed entertainers are allowed and license must be produced upon request. |
|
|
17. |
All sound speakers must be compliant with the SISIR approved sound control system. Only one sound speaker is allowed at the event to prevent noise disturbance to the nearby residents. |

|
Rental Rates
18. |
The volleyball and basketball courts are also open for rental as an extension of the hall only. All of the abovementioned rules & regulations also apply. |

$1,000/= for min 6 hours + 7% GST (Non Air-Con) Air-Con: additional $100/= per hour (before 10:00pm) Deposit: $500/= (refundable) Compulsory Cleaning Fee: $250/= |

Disclaimer

The Club Management Committee and staff shall not be held responsible for any damages, loss of property, injury or death arising from or in relation to the rental of the hall. |

Applicants who violate any of the abovementioned rules and regulations shall not be permitted to rent the hall in future. In addition, the Management Committee reserves the right to retain all or a portion of the rental deposit given. |

- |
The Management Committee reserves the right to approve or disapprove any applications at its sole and absolute discretion, and the right to amend the rules & regulations from time to time, without offering any explanation. |
