Chua Chu Kang Community Club

Chua Chu Kang Community Club was original build in 1993. Renewal and upgrading to community club are essential to meet the changing needs and new aspirations of residents. It has for the past years implemented various programmes o upgrade as well as to provide new facilities such as fast food restaurant and Youth Corner.

The Community Club occupies an area of 4026.80 sq m, with facilities like Multi Purpose Hall, Stage cum Dance Room, Music Room, Classrooms, Conference Room, Chinese Orchestra Room, IT Centre, Badminton Courts, Basketball Court and Civil Defense Shelter.

In meeting the expanded needs of the residents of all age groups, for more facilities in catering to the high demand of courses and activities, CC has undergone new upgrading works to the existing premise in 2006 and was completed in Dec 2007. The upgrading works comprises the following:-

• new roofing over existing courts
• new additions of Chinese Orchestra Practise Room
• New air-conditioning to existing Multi Purpose Hall
• Upgrading of existing toilets
• new replacement of existing lifts and
• general repair and maintenance works

In recognition of its outstanding contribution to community service and the significant achievements, the Club emerged champion in the People's  Association (PA) Award for Community Centre/Club (Group I) consecutively from 2001 to 2003 and 4 star community club in year 2006.

On the whole, activities organised by the Community Club covers a wide spectrum of activities ranging from sports, cultural, information technologies, educational and recreational to community services. The new upgraded community club will definitely meets the needs of residents in its catchement area and add much colour and vibracy to the community club community.
